Ajax midfielder Jody Lukoki is a target for Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew.
The Daily Mail says Pardew and his scouting team have watched Ajax extensively over the past two years and it resulted in the signing of Vurnon Anita last summer.
Lukoki, 20, can play behind the striker or on the wing. He has played 14 games this season and scored three goals.
Newcastle, who are also keen to bring in a striker and a defender, hope a deal can be struck for around £3.5million.
