Newcastle United caretaker boss John Carver has admitted admiration for Burnley striker Danny Ings.

The Toon meet Burnley and Ings today.

"He's a very good player," said Carver.

"A young lad, full of energy, and with good ability from both feet. He's a fox in the box who can come to life."
