Newcastle United boss Alan Shearer has denied claims he was interested in bringing Kenny Dalglish back to the club as a technical director.

He revealed: "We are not bringing in any new people and we will be relying on those we have already got."

Dalglish is expected to join Rafa Benitez's backroom team at Liverpool this week.
