Newcastle United boss Sam Allardyce is desperate to keep Kieron Dyer away from West Ham United.
The Hammers are keen to snap up the Newcastle winger after new-signing Julien Faubert got crocked and faces six months out.
Fans turned on Dyer at the end of last season.
Toon boss Big Sam said: "There's been no bid from West Ham. I'm not keen to lose Kieron, he's an integral part of my plans.
"But I'll have a chat with him and see if he thinks there is anything in a move to West Ham."
