Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew is a big fan of West Ham United's midfield.

Everton midfielder Leon Osman has been called up by England at 31 and Pardew thinks that gives 30-year-old Kevin Nolan hope.

He also believes Hammers ­midfielder Mark Noble, 25, is equipped to play for England.

Pardew said: "I gave Mark Noble his debut. I love him. His enthusiasm is incredible.

"Kevin is different as he's older. Three or four years ago, he should have played for England. Whether it's too late for him now, I don't know."
