Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew takes his squad to West Bromwich Albion today.

Pardew admitted he is still shocked that the Baggies axed Steve Clarke.

He said: "I was very ­disappointed by that decision, ­especially as his No.2 Kevin Keen was my assistant at West Ham.

"I'm very sad I won't be meeting the two of them. West Brom are a good team and I think they have been galvanised by what happened to Steve."
