Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew is confident of improving his squad this summer market.

But he warns fans they could lose one of their stars also.

He told the Evening Chronicle: "Regardless of losing anybody, which is a possibility - and losing one of our top players - I still think we'll bring in two or three players. We'll certainly do that, and for the underbelly of the team too which needs to be strengthened."
