Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew is looking for defensive reinforcements after their thrashing by Liverpool.
Pardew is praying that captain Fabricio Coloccini will be fully recovered from his back injury for the trip to West Ham next Saturday after being out since February.
He said: "We're going to need Fabricio. His guidance will be important. It's vital he comes through this week.
"We need players who know this situation. He's one of a few players in our dressing room who have been relegated at this club.
"We need to lean on their experience. This team will fight to the end."
