Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew says talks are continuing with skipper Fabricio Coloccini over a new deal.

He confirmed that talks were continuing with Coloccini over a new deal.

"It's bubbling along really," he said.

"It's a contract we need to get right and quite rightly, everyone is holding fire on that to make sure it's right. There are obviously talks ongoing on that really."
