Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew is tightlipped over their bid for Modibo Maiga.
Pardew's Newcastle drew 0-0 with Swansea City yesterday.
After the game, Pardew declined to comment on reports that Sochaux striker Maiga's proposed move to Newcastle has been scuppered by a failed medical.
