Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew is delighted with the impact of Loic Remy since his arrival from QPR.

Pardew will turn to Remy again at Everton on Monday night.

He told the Evening Chronicle: "It's obvious we needed that. I think his performance against Hull City was important for the group.

"They needed to see that he is a player who is going to score goals. He was very unlucky not to get a hat-trick."
