Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew has no problem counting on James Perch.

Swansea City come to Toon today, looking to exploit an injury-hit Magpies rearguard that has shipped seven goals in the last two games.

Pardew said of Perch: "He gives it everything he's got when he plays, with no moans or gripes.

"He does his best and if you're a Newcastle fan, that's nice to see."
