Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew is anxious about tying his players to new deals.

With Fabricio Coloccini and Danny Simpson yet to agree new deals on Tyneside, the manager is nervous.

Pardew told the Evening Chronicle: "The players who are doing great then pitch in about new contracts.

"It is a lot to cover. You can't cover it all, but we are doing our best."
