Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew feels there's plenty of improvement in his squad.
Pardew believes his side still need room to grow into English football.
He said: "Foreign players, particularly coming from French football, struggle a little bit because of the intensity and the demands.
"The demands to defend in this division are phenomenal.
"If you are a centre-forward you can't just hang round at the top of the pitch - you have to put a shift in in every position.
"So that's something they are learning."
