Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew admits he's a huge fan of Chelsea's Jose Mourinho.

Toon face Chelsea this weekend.

"I want to beat him," said Pardew. "I don't go out for dinner with him or buy him wine. It's a professional relationship. But I do love him. He walks on water. Most weeks, there is a tactical masterclass from Mourinho.

"You don't get the record he's got of winning trophies unless you have a very, very sharp intellect. He's had a few managers working under him as I have had but they can never take your DNA as a manager."
