Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew may end Cheick Tiote's season early.
Ivory Coast international Tiote equalled the 14 bookings picked up by Robbie Savage, and his Wales team-mate Mark Hughes in a single season when he was booked for a daft trip on Matt Derbyshire in the 91st minute.
If Tiote is booked in Newcastle's next two games, he will suspended for the first three matches of next season. And Pardew wants to play his strongest side at Stamford Bridge, but does not know whether he can risk the midfielder.
He said: "I will have to consider it. He would miss three games at the beginning of next season and he is very important to the team.
"I have to look at Manchester United and Chelsea and our result at Chelsea could be critical. I have to do what is right for football and play my best team so I have a really tough call.
"I have a commitment, not just to this club, to field my strongest team so it will me an emotional pull for me and the club. We will have to sit down and talk it through."
