Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew has urged fans not to lose faith after recent results.
The alarming collapse against Fulham has led to fears that it could spark a slide down the table, shattering dreams of European football next season.
Speaking from Newcastle's Tenerife training camp where the squad are preparing for this weekend's tricky FA Cup tie at Brighton, Pardew told the Daily Star: "If fans are a little bit concerned, they shouldn't be.
"We're in a fantastic position and there's no need to panic."
