Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew has no doubts fielding Steve Harper against Everton on Monday.

Harper will make his first Premier League appearance for almost 18 months for Newcastle at Everton on Monday.

Pardew said: "I think Steve was a bit unlucky to miss out last year when the No.1 jersey was up for grabs.

"But he's come back with renewed vigour to play. And in training he has looked as good as I've seen him since I've been here."
