Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew admits he's eager to get a deal for Bafetimbi Gomis over the line.
Toon are negotiating terms with Gomis' club Lyon this week.
Pardew said: "Gomis is a player who would suit us, and we should pursue it as strongly as we can."
