Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew is on a scouting mission this week.
The Evening Chronicle says Pardew is in France checking on transfer targets.
Lyon left-back Aly Cissokho and Toulouse defender Cheikh M'Bengue are both high on Pardew's shopping lists.
Lorient striker Kevin Gameiro and Lille's Gervinho are also interesting the Toon manager.
