Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew feels Demba Ba is due to goal against Manchester City today.

Pardew though did pay tribute to Papiss Cisse's 13 goals and feels his side would not be where they are in the table without him.

He said: "I'm glad we signed him in January.

"We wouldn't be where we are now without him.

"He's been helped by Demba Ba.

"And while Demba hasn't scored for a while, I still feel he is going to score a significant goal for us."
