Newcastle boss Pardew expects new deal for Armstrong

Newcastle United striker Adam Armstrong is set to pen new terms.

Armstrong has only just turned 17 but he has already been involved with the first-team and been on the bench three times.

"I think he's got a part to play somewhere along the line - he's somebody we have high hopes for," Toon boss Alan Pardew told the Shields Gazette.

"Hopefully, we'll secure his long-term future here in the next few days."
