Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew is excited by what he's seen from new signing Vurnon Anita.
Anita made an appearance as a second-half substitute in victory over Tottenham.
Pardew said: "Vurnon has impressed the players in training and while I felt his first couple of touches were a bit indifferent, he has been at Ajax a long time and it was going to be tough.
"It's tough to come in to a game like this with a completely different atmosphere but I felt Vurnon really grew at the game went on. He showed a great bit of skill and he is going to be a big player for us."
