Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew is happy to send Shane Ferguson on-loan to Birmingham City.
The Evening Chronicle says Pardew is keen for the Northern Ireland international to get plenty of first-team experience on a regular basis.
United don't want to lose Ferguson permanently and the loan switch to Birmingham suits both parties, with City struggling for funds.
