Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew refuses to give up on landing FC Twente defender Douglas.
The Daily Mail says Pardew is in the market for FC Twente's imposing Brazilian centre-back Douglas who has made more than 100 appearances for Steve McClaren's club.
The 24-year-old defender, who also has a Dutch passport, has attracted interest from Tottenham, Liverpool, Ajax and Bayern Munich which has upped his value to around £6million.
