Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew is delighted with the growing influence of Daryl Janmaat.
The Holland fullback was superb in victory at West Bromwich Albion yesterday.
"He's an attacking full-back and in the Dutch league you don't get exploited at full-back,'' said Pardew. "He's had to learn. He's got the balance." Janmaat also did well defensively, keeping West Brom at bay.
"His defending was as good as the assists,'' added Pardew. "He was a worthy of man of the match.
"He's in early and he does his work. He's very thorough. That professionalism is what he's about."
