Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew is delighted his fringe players have rejected offers to leave on-loan.
Both Leon Best and James Perch were subject of interest on transfer deadline day, but were told to stay onboard and contribute to the Magpies' dream of Europe.
Pardew told the Evening Chronicle: "This is what the squad's about. We had one or two who had the option to go out on loan, but the players told them to stay."
