Newcastle boss Pardew to deal in Ziani despite Ben Arfa rift

Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew is ready to deal in Wolfsburg's unsettled midfielder Karim Ziani.

The Daily Mail says Pardew is ready to follow up his interest in Ziani and make him his second signing.

However, the Algerian international is still brooding on a feud with former Marseille team-mate Hatem Ben Arfa who last week became Pardew's first addition since taking over from Chris Hughton.

Ziani, the subject of talks between Newcastle and Wolfsburg this week, had a training-ground bust-up with Ben Arfa less than two years ago when they were together in the south of France.
