Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew is preparing for crunch talks with club owner Mike Ashley.
Pardew insists the meeting, along with newly-appointed managing director Lee Charnley will be constructive as they look for the best way to push the club forward after a season of turmoil.
He said: "It's important Mike understands some of the problems I've had. We can talk through some things I think need to improve.
"It's not like there's too much hollering and shouting, it's more a case for Mike to listen to the problems I've had."
