Newcastle boss Pardew confident keeping Man Utd target Cabaye

Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew has dismissed talk of losing Yohan Cabaye to Manchester United.

United boss David Moyes is prepared to wait to land top target Cesc Fabregas from Barcelona, but could turn his attentions to the Frenchman if his pursuit ultimately fails.

"Not really," replied Pardew to suggestions that the 27-year-old could be set to leave St James' Park.

"I feel like all of our players there is a value to Yohan. Obviously he is a player I want to keep.

"He is a great technical player and his personality is fantastic."
