Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew is confident of keeping hold of Yohan Cabaye beyond January.

Cabaye has already been linked with a host of clubs a month before the window opens.

But Pardew said: "A lot of clubs will be looking.

"But our owner is a tough negotiator."
