Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew is delighted with the impact John Carver has made back at the club.

Pardew brought the Geordie back to Newcastle last year.

"He gives me the psyche of the fan," Pardew told the Telegraph. "He's generally grumpy about something, he will always come in and have a gripe, in a nice way."
