Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew wouldn't be surprised seeing former Chelsea stars Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka back in the Premier League this season.
The future of the pair at Shanghai Shenhua is in doubt over the Chinese club's ownership wrangle.
Pardew told Absolute Radio's Ian Wright: "Well we got Demba so we're all right.
"No, I'm sure there will be a lot of clubs looking at the deal because of financial dealer needs to work for everybody. But a bit of a shock really that that club was obviously not paying a wage or whatever. So yes nice to see them back on the market because they are two great players.
"The grass is always greener Wrighty you know that."
