Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew admits he's never concerned over the form of Yohan Cabaye.

Pardew says the Frenchman's class always shines through.

He told the Evening Chronicle: "Cabaye doesn't shirk from the responsibility of winning tackles and doing the ugly side of the game.

"I have no worries about Cabaye. Whether he's playing good, bad or whatever, he's a great player.

"Great players will come to the fore - and sometimes when you least expect them to."
