Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew admits he's a big fan of Joe Cole.

Cole faces being frozen out at Liverpool after a disastrous performance in their Capital One Cup defeat to Swansea City.

Pardew said: "Joe's a good player and at the top of his form you wouldn't want him playing against you, that's for sure."
