Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew was delighted with Ayoze Perez over his goal in victory at Tottenham.
Pardew believes Perez just gets better and better as he adjusts to the pace and power of English football.
"He is a really great individual talent," said Pardew.
"He hasn't quite got the strength and power that you associate with the Premier League, but that will come to him.
"He's worked really, really hard. We're so pleased with him. The players love him so they were really made up that he scored the winner."
