Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew says their deal for Papiss Demba Cisse is proof of owner Mike Ashley's commitment.
Pardew thinks the Cisse deal is the finest hour of Ashley's ownership.
He remarked: "He didn't need to fund the transfer. What he's done speaks for itself."
