Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew says England must take Arsenal whiz Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to the Euros.

Arsenal landed the versatile Oxlade-Chamberlain, 18, in a £15million deal last summer.

Pardew said: "For me, he should go with England. He's an absolutely outstanding player.

"I gave him his debut at 16. I don't give many people debuts at that age but he just stood out as one who was going to be an amazing player.

"I thought Arsenal got a good deal there - he can play anywhere."
