Newcastle boss Pardew: Ameobi will not be joining Nigeria

Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew insists Shola Ameobi will not be going to the African Nations Cup.

Ameobi made Nigeria's pre-selection squad.

But Pardew insists: “He isn’t going to be selected and he isn’t going to go – it’s as simple as that.”
