Newcastle United boss Steve McClaren won't pass the buck over their poor start to the season.
The Magpies are second bottom after six games and have scored just three goals.
When asked if he had been left short of players, McClaren said: "I think every manager would, in hindsight, answer that by saying, 'I wish we could have had him and him and him'.
"But we've had the time to do that and we've got what we've got. It's time to get on with it."
