Hearts fullback David Obua is a confirmed target for Newcastle United boss Joe Kinnear.
The Uganda international signed for the Jambos in the summer after a trial at West Ham United.
Toon boss Joe Kinnear said: "We are also monitoring the situation at Hearts with their left-back David Obua, but like a lot of other clubs we're monitoring a lot of players."
