Newcastle United boss Joe Kinnear has revealed they're chasing established players in the Dutch top-flight ahead of the January market.

Kinnear told the Sunday Sun: "The players we are looking at now have got to be proven - we don't want to chance our arm with 'maybes'.

"They are all playing in their sides in Holland. I believe that whoever I have identified will be better than we have got." Newcastle have previously been linked with Dutch left-backs Urby Emanuelson (Ajax) and Tim De Cler (Feyenoord).
