Newcastle United boss Joe Kinnear is confident he's been able to prove to Premiership chairmen he can do a job in the top-flight.
"I never got interviews because of my health and that hurt me," said Kinnear. "I am fine, fit and well. I had to get back somehow to prove that I am physically okay. Mike (Ashley) never even mentioned it.
"I was ordered to take two years rest out of the game and then you are the forgotten man. I kept banging on doors but this job came out of the blue. I am going to do everything I possibly can to make sure it leads on to another one."
