Newcastle United boss Joe Kinnear has told 19 year-old centre-forward Andy Carroll he will start the next two games.

Kinnear said: "Andy done very well and was always a handful.

"I was pleased for him, because he has done well to get the opportunity.

"He will start in the next two games because of the amount of players we have injured.

"Andy and Michael are the only two strikers available to me."
