Newcastle United boss Kevin Keegan will attempt to convince Charles N'Zogbia about staying at St James' Park in the remaining months of this season.

Keegan said: "He has got a contract that he has just signed for the next three or four years, so that commitment was made on his behalf as well, not just the club's.

"We have got to be honest with each other and we have got to try to solve it to everyone's benefit. The best way for Newcastle fans would be if he stayed here."
