Newcastle United boss Kevin Keegan shrugged off Obafemi Martins' strop after hooking the Nigerian during last night's 1-1 draw at Birmingham City.

"I have not got a problem with it," said Keegan. "He is smaller than me anyway, but I would hate to bring a player off and he starts doing cartwheels. I like that in players. I told him I know it hurts but it was not for his performance, it was tactical to shore things up and he had every right to be disappointed."
