Newcastle boss Keegan determined to keep N'Zogbia

Newcastle United boss Kevin Keegan admits there's been little movement over the situation of unsettled midfielder Charles N'Zogbia.

Keegan has a battle on his hands to keep the clearly dissatisfied midfielder on Tyneside with Spurs among the clubs maintaining an interest in his situation, although he has vowed to do all he can to persuade him to stay.

The manager said: "I still see it the same. We have from now until the end of the season.

"His future lies here for as long as we want because he's got a three-year contract.

"I told him to get his head down and work hard and then we would come back to that at the end of the season.

"That's the promise I made him and that's what we will do. That has not changed."
