Newcastle United boss Kevin Keegan is confident he can meet club owner Mike Ashley's expectations.
He said: "I asked him (Ashley) what he wanted for his club, and he said: 'I'd like to win a trophy in the next three years'. That's what I'm going to try to do."
And by any means possible, it seems.
Keegan added: "You might get where a manager rests players for a league match because they're pretty much in the top half, and they put their strongest side out in the Carling Cup.
"Spurs have had a great season - because they won the Carling Cup."
