Newcastle United boss Chris Hughton is back to work this week.

Hughton is satisfied that his United ranks contain sufficient experienced troopers, meaning he will look to recruit younger players with a desire to play for the Magpies.

He told the Evening Chronicle: "It's a case of back to work for me today.

"It's business as usual, but I can't say that while I've been away that anything has really stopped.

"You always continue to take calls and our business has been on-going."
