Newcastle boss Hughton says Krul, Forster could leave on-loan

Newcastle United boss Chris Hughton admits Tim Krul and Fraser Forster could both move away on-loan this season.

Both are likely to play for Newcastle in some pre-season games, although United's manager admits there is a temptation to give Krul the chance of regular first-team football elsewhere and let Forster provide cover at St James' Park.

He told The Journal: "One of the things which we are considering at the moment is whether we should allow Tom Krul out on loan next season and keep Fraser here.

"We've had interest in both of them and they are both two very good young goalkeepers. We are trying to assess all our different options and we shall see what the best offer is. You have to take a lot of factors into consideration. What is the best deal for the club and what is going to be the best option for the player. We have to think about their development and what they are going to take the most benefit from.

"We shall work with all three of the goalkeepers in Ireland and they will be very much a part of that, but we will have to make a decision before the season begins. At this moment in time, no decision has been made."
